How do you go from drama student to fashion savvy business woman and style icon in 7 not-so-easy steps? Just ask Elle Ferguson Co-Founder of online fashion destination “They All Hate Us” and co-host of Style Squad on the Style Network.

Elle has always had a creative flair; she attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, majoring in Drama. After graduating, she got herself an agent and enjoyed a successful career as a model. Fashion shoots and TV didn’t satisfy Elle’s thirst for more, and so she went on to study Interior Design at Enmore Design Centre, where she was ranked first in her year. Elle’s eye for design won her the role of Australian Visual Merchandiser for ‘One Teaspoon’, this role included designing and installing the concept areas throughout David Jones nationally. She also designed and set up their concept stores in Perth and Sydney.

Following One Teaspoon, Elle became the National Womenswear Visual Merchandiser for the General Pants Group. Elle stayed at General Pants for just over six years where she was responsible for styling, training, store design and many facets of bringing the General Pants Culture to life.

Elle left the General Pants Group to become the Global Visual Merchandising manager for the Seafolly Group where she was involved in designing the retail spaces for Seafolly across the globe.
Then, in mid-2012, Elle decided to reach for something more, she backed herself, followed her dreams and started up a business with her best friend. TAHU was born.

Theyallhateus.com is the most popular fashion blog in the Australia, boasting over 7.4 million visits a year and an Instagram following of over 1million. That’s similar traffic to theblondesalad.com by global “It girl” Chiara Ferragni, and more traffic than American blogging darlings; SongOfStyle and SincerleyJules. Tash and Elle have also created an incredible retail business, with a loyal global fan base of customers that love to shop with them. Tash and Elle convert fans into customers, visits into purchases. That’s real influence, and this is real business. In 2016, Tash and Elle debuted their first TV show, “Style Squad” which launched on Foxtel’s Style and E! Network.
