Carissa Walford has established herself as a leading television presenter, journalist and producer specialising in music, fashion, film and pop culture. As the host of Channel 9’s Movie Juice, Carissa reports on the latest Hollywood movie entertainment, star interviews, red carpet action and new release trailers.

As the female face of Foxtel’s Channel [V] for 5 years, Carissa worked on the Astra Award winning LIVE show The Riff, until progressing to hosting her own TV show #VTRENDING. Carissa brings a wealth of experience, reporting internationally on various content, from the latest news to some of the biggest names in the business, with a portfolio including Iggy Azalea, Pharrell Williams, Channing Tatum, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Matt Damon, Cara Delevigne, Kim Kardashian, Drew Barrymore, Mark Wahlberg and Harry Styles.

In addition to this, Carissa was part of a daily news show, WTF on [V] sourcing the best music and pop culture news stories of the day. Carissa has extensive experience at many popular Australian music festivals, producing live, on-the-ground broadcasts at various national events.

In 2017, Carissa created and produced her own digital series #INBEDWITHCARISSA, exploring a unique format whereby Carissa’s guests leave their inhibitions behind as they jump between the sheets. #INBEDWITHCARISSA premiered on Junkee with a reach of 2 million young Australians each month and has since partnered with Twitter for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, exposing #IBWC to over 30,000 patrons throughout the week.

Carissa is passionately involved with the Starlight Foundation, having been an ambassador for three years, and regularly visits Westmead and Randwick Children’s Hospital to help spread fun and joy to those who need it most.

In 2017, Carissa became a civil marriage celebrant in support of same-sex marriage.
